Lewinski 23.02.2012

This video clip is from last Thursday.
I had about 38 degrees fever, but could sing the whole night because of the medication I took.
Next day I was so weak that I almost couldn't get out of the bed and I had to cancel my singing Friday night.
The syphtoms were; fever and a lot of ache in my body + a little bit soar throat + weakness and dissiness.
Yesterday it was my normal day off and today I feel a little bit better and I will sing tonight.
Brito also had this bug for 3 days so I hope it will leave me now.
I heard many people here on Tenerife have got it at the moment.
But don't worry if you get it, it will probably only last for 3-4 days.

Cachimba

We took the road up to Teide and then down on the other side.

Last Saturday we went over to La Orotava to have a meal in Guachinche Cachimba.
Cachimba means pipe in English.

Brito was driving.

It was not much snow at Teide.

We stopped to have a Cafe and a Torrija.

This photo of Teide inside the restaurant pleased me.
Oh so lovely if it would have been so much snow in real.

This beautiful tree is standing outside the restaurant.

We stopped and had a short walk in the forest to get some fresh air in our lungs.

Me in the forest.

On the way down to Cachimba.
The roads are very steep.

The restaurant was packed and we had to queue for about 20 minutes.

Some of the food we had.

Lazy Blogging?

I have got some complains the last weeks when I don't blogg much and some of you are visiting my blogg almost every day. I will soon, when the Scandinavians start leaving the island, receive some more sparetime and then I probably get more time with my blog...We'll see!

It already starts becoming much more silent and I am trying to stress down a little bit at the moment by playing Hidden Chronicles + Farmville on Facebook.
It is very cold here and I prefer to stay inside if i don't have to go out.
Brito has also been ill with fever and a running nose the last three days and because of that we also have just stayed in the house.

Why I haven't been blogging much is because I've been busy the last months with the apartments.
We have been working like crazy and what would I blogg about then?
I don't think the people who rent my apartments would like to become 'stars' in my blogg.

He,he! There are at least a couple of stories that would be a sensasion, if I could tell you the truth about how people have tried to fool us...But I'm never angry at anybody and I like to protect my clients whatever they do to me.

For me the money is not the reason why I live and I many times better loose or give money away to people to just perserve the paz. I'm sure I later somehow will get it all back and even with interests. That's how it works in the kingdom of God.
God like us to be in agreement with everybody and if you follow his will he will for sure not make you a looser in the end. That's how it works so why would I even worry or become upset?
'Give and it will be given to you'

The most of the clients have anyhow been lovely and the ones who have been less nice I love as much as the other ones...like I already said...I haven't got any enemies in this world.

The Almond Trees

Now the almond trees start blooming.

.

Chirche

Here the streets are very steep and narrow.

These photos are from a village called Chirche, up in the mountains.
A village that you normally don't visit. There's nothing special!
We anyhow had a quick visit here some days ago and I took these photos.

The first you see when you get there is a very complicated pipe system.

The nature is beautiful.

This is a 'Tajea'. (in Canarian)
Before it brought water from a water galleria, to the farmers.

There are some very old houses in this village.
Plants are growing through the roof.

A very old balcony made of wood.
Like I already said; It's not much to look at here...!

Brito In The 'Cave Village' Cave

Some caves are beautiful inside. The walls and the ceiling are
having a whole spectrum of colors.
This is not a big cave but it looks beautiful inside.

Brito likes adventure and he really would like to jump down and have a swim in the lagoon that is inside the cave. If it not were a lot of crabs there I would like to have a swim there too, but I think it could be very dangerous. Specially this day when the ocean was rough and the water was moving very strongly even inside the cave.

Imagine if the stream is so strong that it will suck you into the tubes that connect the cave with the ocean!
Oh, I don't recommend anybody to swim here even when it's very cozy and tempting.
The crabs are kind ones. They will not attack you even when they look like monsters, but be aware of the water whirls when they can be very strong!

Brito also agreed and said it could be very dangerous to just jump down into a cave lagoon like this. You don't know how deep it is nor how far it goes inside the island if the whirls bring you further inside. There are many times more tubes going further inside the island that can be connected to other caves or cathedrals.

.

In The Cave Village

The seafront is very dark and dramatic on the east coast.

Yesterday we visited a couple of cave villages here on Tenerife.
Oh, what a nice day we had!
I didn't even know that we have got villages her on the island where people live in caves.
I think these villages are the most far from the tourism you can get on this island?

I took a lot of photos but, like you see, they have got many different frames when I'm now trying to learn how to use a photo/frame program, that I found in my computer.

If you like, you can click on the photos to get them bigger and you can better see the details.

The cave village.

Me holding the hair in place. It was very windy.

Brito.

The sign says; No Basura. (No Trash)...and look at the ground!

The cats of the village were having a siesta. (Siesta= Nap).

The beach front path.

The two first cave doors when you start walking the beachfront.

These houses are not very well.

Have a look at this one!
The pillar has got two tiny poles as a support.

One of the families have made a pool in front of their cave.

One more cave entrance.
If you like to take photos of old houses I recommend you to go here!
You will find nice old looking photo objects everywhere.

Brito at one of the 'street lamps'.

Me having a rest.
This cave house has got some renovation...

Up on the top of the cave homes somebody is building a new house.
Oh, I would be very scared if I had to live in a cave.
Is it called claustrophobia?

On this photo you can see the earth is round.
When you get a whole big ocean in front of you, you can see it's round with your own eyes!
Can't you? And the waves are rolling in the uphill slope!

A sun grilled crab.

There's a cave in the end of the beach walk.
Brito went inside and took a video clip.
I'll show you in next post.

Me and Tarajales.

Brito .
The tree is called 'Tarajales'. It's very big!

On the way to next cave village we saw this little cut boat.

And this house that must be the smallest 'home' I've seen.

Somebody in the area had made a real big pool. Looks nice!

This is also something like a cave village.
The only difference is that the houses are built in under the
ceiling of this big open cave.

We ended the trip having lunch at one of the best fish restaurants in Candelaria.
A very nice and different day. It's never boring to be along with Brito.
