An Update
These good looking guys are Chippendale dancers.
It's not easy to become a Chippendale dancer.
About 500 guys show up every time it's addition in Las Vegas!
It's almost like at 'Idols'.
Girls>Are you lookin' for handsome boyfriends? Go to Las Vegas when it's addition! *smile*

Two ladies came up to me Sunday night at Lewinskis and told me to start blogging more when they and some of their friends in England are visiting my blog every day and I haven't been saying anything for weeks.
I'm sorry I haven't been blogging lately. It's only because I really don't know what to say.
A lot is going on in my life at the moment, but sometimes I just like to keep my life private.
I also became a little bit fed up of blogging when I've tried so many times to upload the video clip that I made a couple of weeks ago without any result.
It still doesn't work and I don't know why.
Is there a limit about how much videos you can upload on Blogger? Anybody knows?
I will anyhow give you a short update now...
The work:
I continue singing 6 nights a week at Lewinskis.
Some nights are very crowded while some nights are more quiet.
Tuesdays and Fridays are quiet when many tourists these days arrive to the island and leave the island. Last night it was only about 40 guests, but over 100 guests last Thursday, so it's a quite big difference.
Now the Scandinavians have started coming too and they will become more and more every week.
Simon , the quick handy waiter at Lewinskis, has moved on to an other restaurant and instead we have got a new handsome waiter called Hérnan. He is originally from Argentina.
Lomberto, the cute charming Cuban, is still working with us. He was offered a new job at an other restaurant and left, but returned when he later was offered better work conditions.
We are all so happy to have him back!
Lewinskis have lately got new big beautiful toilets. There's even an toilet for wheelchair access now!
Private life:
My life is like a merry-go-round! *giggle*
It's very exciting and I feel lucky and happy!
I got the influenza vaccin shot yesterday and now I'm protected and prepared for the winter.
It caused me a little bit headache and fever last night but today I feel normal.
My last night off: (Monday)
I went out to Players Lounge for dinner with an English couple and a Norwegian couple.
I had plans to take photos for the blog, but forgot the camera the whole night through.
After the meal we went to Scandibar to listen to Clas + dance.
Later in the evening one of the waiters from Lewinski, Lomberto, also joined us. He is not my boyfriend, like some of the Scandinavians thought! We are only good friends and decided to meet during the night when we both were off from work!
Oh dear! A few minutes after he arrived somebody at the big Scandinavian table sent the waiter over to our table telling me they would like to get to know if he is my new boyfriend!!! *giggle!*
I can understand people are curious and like to know, but I've got a lot of male friends at the moment so please don't think they all are boyfriends!
There are also a hand full of different men coming to see me at Lewinskis when I work, but I don't have any romance going with them even when it sometimes maybe looks like that if they kiss and hug me! Some of these guys are South Americans, Cubans or Canarians and to kiss or hug is just their culture and some of them are very charming and sometimes it maybe looks like they are flirting with me but remember we are only friends!
Now it's time to get some tan out on the balcony.
Clear blue sky +27 degrees! The weather is just perfect! :-)

My day off
It's my night off tonight when it's Monday.
I will soon go out for dinner to The Players Lounge with some English friends.
I have spent the afternoon at the police station in Las Americas.
A friend from Ireland disappeared about a month ago and nobody knew what happened to him.
I got a message from him 5th of September where he told me he will not come to Lewinski that night, as planned, because he felt a little bit low and was laying in his bed reading a book and listening to music.
After that date nobody has seen him or heard from him.
About the 10th of September a friend of him came to me, before I started singing one night, asking me if I've seen him. He said his phone was out of connection.
I thought he didn't have the right number and tried to call him with my phone but there was no connection.
After work that night I went to a couple of Irish bars asking people if they have seen him and they all said they have been wondering where he is when he normally come to see them almost every night.
One guy said he has went by boat to Fuerteventura, and I called his friend over there and asked if he has seen him.
He said he had told him that he will come and see him and we thought maybe he is on the way with his boat to Fuerteventura.
We decided to wait and see for a few more days and this guy promised to call me as soon as the man have arrived. But, he never arrived!
After a while more and more people started asking me if I've seen him and I started thinking he might be ill in his house (or dead) because he suffers from diabetes.
I started asking everybody if they know where the house is so that we can go there and check if he's okay, but nobody knew where he lives when he had bought a 'finka' up in the mountains about 4 months ago.
I sent a Canarian friend of mine to the harbour where some Spanish people had been painting the bottom of his boat to see if the boat is still there.
But these harbor workers didn't know anything about this man.
Finally last Friday I went out to the Irish bars after work to see if they have heard anything.
All the people I met were worried because they haven't seen him for over a month and I promised to go to the police Monday and ask them to go and look for him if they can figure out where his house is.
And that's why I have been at the police station today.
I have good news! The Police find him and he is alive living in his house.
The reason why he didn't show up for one month is only the simple fact that he felt he would like to take it easy, not going out as much as before etc.
He has felt a little bit low and decided to be alone in the house for a while.
Since I got back from the police station I have been contacting all his friends, who have been worried, and told them the good news; He's alive!!!
One thing has really surprised me during this time and that is how scared some people are of getting involved with the police.
I was told to not go to the police when it for sure would cause me a lot of problems and they would probably keep me arrested or for questioning and I would probably have to face court proceedings etc if the man is dead and as an example has been murdered.
First I started thinking about it, but when I know I haven't been doing anything wrong I decided to go there anyhow. I thought if they start thinking I have done something bad they will figure out in the end that I am innocent of any crime.
Instead I was thinking about the famly of this man and about himself and I thought if I don't go to the police nobody else will do it , and the relatives of him might think he's okay, and he might be dead in the house.. etc.
The police I met at the station today were all very nice and they were keeping me company, talking to me like a friend, while we had to wait. My Spanish is not the best but we were talking a lot and had quite fun together.
Don't be afraid to contact the police if you get problems! They are there to help us and my opinion is now that the police at the station in Las Americas are very friendly and nice guys.

Lewinski 07.10.2010
The Lewinski terrace was very crowded last night again.
We had about 25 linedancers visiting us and the dance floor was used all night long.
My voice was not the best, because of the cold, but I sang like normal til the end.
The linedancers continued dancing til 12 o'clock when I played the original song tracks from the computer after I finished singing.
Oh, it was a really lovely night!!!
I have been working on this video clip the whole afternoon.
Don't get it uploaded!
Now I decided to split it into two different clips... hopefully it works now...?
Maybe it's too long when it's over 4 minutes?
Please, click on the small arrows on the clips below if
you like to watch what the night was like.

I Have Got Gripe!
Of course I've got gripe (the cold)!
It was quite a tough night last night when I had fever and a soar throat and on top of that I quit with the guy that I've been dating.
He is a very nice guy, the most gentleman I probably have met, but maybe we are not meant to be? The future will tell! We are however in agreement.
Oh dear, I hope my blog will not become like a serial of who I date and quit with.
It's really tricky to keep my private life a secret. I don't know what to do about it!
Hopefully I will find a 'long lasting relationship' next time!!!
Sigh! I will anyhow take it easy now and just work and sleep!
I work 6 nights a week and if I start dating somebody, the person sooner or later will show up on the terrace. Some of the guests are also quite quick to figure out if something is going on.
I can't tell a potential boyfriend to not visit the restaurant when I work almost every night. That would mean that he will never be able to see me. Specially if he himself is working in the daytime like the one I have been dating lately.
He gets up about 6 o'clock in the morning and it has been quite tough days for him the times when he has been seeing me in the nights after I finished work. Not much sleep!
He runs his own company and have many people employed.
Maybe I next time find somebody who has the same work hours like me? Then we could see each other during the spare time and nobody would know anything before it becomes something serious.
I am anyhow very tired now and have fever + a runny nose.. Must check the Facebook and then go to bed.
Good Night!

Lewinski 03.10.2010
Oh what a night it was yesterday again!
The terrace was packed and we had about 110 guests visiting us during the night.
The winter season has started and now we are very busy in the nights.
Not many Scandinavians have arrived yet but they will come in multitudes after the 20th of October. Then we probably will have to somehow rearrange the tables on the terrace to get everybody in. Like it's now we only have room for about 120 guests and the Britons are many times 100 people or more.
It's my night off tonight and I will as soon as I have finished this post go out for dinner.
My boyfriend has caught a flu and got fever last night when he was at Lewinskis.
He is very weak and tired at the moment.
I just hope I will not receive it. I don't have time to become ill right now!
