El Puertito

Yesterday when it was my day off we had a stroll in El Puertito.

We decided to walk up the steps, on the left side of the bay, to
look what's on the other side of the mountain.
We have learned we'll get different experiences of the nature if we just
take a walk to the 'back sides' of the places people normally see.

The view when you get up.

The water is very clear and it looks so beautiful.

At the seafront of this little cape the lava is very orange.
It looks very different when it also has got a mix with small black lava balls.

Brito got an idea that I would climb up and ride this rocket so that
he could take a photo. Finally up there I became very dizzy of the altitude and I hardly couldn't move. Oh, how scared I became! I thought I would not get down and he had to help me.

For him it was just a piece of cake to get up and down.

This is how it looks on the other side of the mountain.
There are some nice beach spots where to go if you like to
spend a day in the sun without a lot of tourists around you.

After a short walk we came to an other big bay.

When Brito appeares in my blogg posts he always read them and approve them.
When it comes to this photo he like me to tell you that he is not urinating even when it looks like that. He is just holding a bottle of water with his hands.
He is not doggy and urinate in the nature like many men do.
I certify to you this is the truth!!!
If he would be doggy I would directly skip him!

When you look down to the seafront the beach looks like this.

On the other side of the bay the lava suddenly has changed to an other color.
The mountain wall looks like it has been made of concrete.
Also nice and different.

On the way home we stoped in La Caleta to have a lunch.
We started with Camarones when we both are crazy in having them.
I had a glas of cold white wine from the island and Brito had a
'tinto verano' ( a mix of redvine and seven up, that the Canarians many times
drink in the summer time).

And then we had sardinas with papas arrugadas.

El Medano

We started with Camarones. They are a 'must have' in warm days.

A couple of days ago (Saturday) we had a lunch in El Medano.
There's a restaurant very close to the beach where we like to sit and eat and
watch the waves rolling into the score. It gives peach and relax to your mind.

As a main course we had paella and pan with mojo sauces and
papas arrugadas...

...and sardines + I ordered a real big gamba that I had myself when
Brito really don't like them.

We had a nice meal but this woman was a disgust to my boyfriend.
He don't like to watch celluites while he's eating and thought she would be okay with a skirt on.
You know; He's a restricted Canarian man!

'The Playa Chica' was serving us during the meal.
Please, understand mi right! He's called *Playa Chica' which means the
'Beach Girl'. It's not me giving him a nick name! I'm a good girl!!!

As a desert we had 'Cafe Cortada' (Canarian Coffee) and an Orujo (Canarian Liqueur) an other 'must have' when it's good for the digestion.

Suddenly an other 'ass' showed up below the terrace.
Brito thought this one was too tiny...
He,he! I'm glad to tell you he thinks I'm okay!
That's anyhow what he says...?!!!

A nice surprice in the end of the meal was that the
first girl suddenly put on a dress.
I must tell you I was convinced!
She looks more beautiful with the dress on!....Brito was right!
She even looks a little bit sexy. Don't you think so?

What do we learn from this?
If you have got a lot of cellulites; Hide them under a short sexy skirt or dress while you are on the beach...specially if you see people eating nearby.
But, to be honest, I don't really think the cellulites are the
worse things on the beach.
I just like to mention 'old hangy breasts'!!!
Maybe I'll blog about them an other time..?!

He,he! My sensation when I now afterwords read this post is that I was spending the afternoon in El Madano like a paparazzi taking photos of different behinds.
Do you think this is normal? I'm not sure!

Las Galletas

Brito brought a fishing gear for morenas.
Use gloves if you catch one because they bite!

Oh I've been very lazy when it comes to blogging.
Her some more photos that have been waiting in the camera...
My son Daniel was here during the carneval week and one day we
went down to Las Galletas to have a barbeque and do some morena fishing.
We had a lovely relaxing day but...Bad Luck!
We didn't catch any morenas. Hopefully better luck next time.
He'll be back here again in April and then we probably will do some more fishing.

Brito fishing.
The morenas are staying down inunder the rockets.

Daniel swimming.

The barbeque.
We had pork and chicken and inside the folie baskets I have made a
mix of potatos and batata pieces, feta cheese, different vegetables + spices.

Brito caught a jelly fish.

The waves had brought this jellyfish up on the rockets.
Looks dangerous by the color.
I'm happy it didn't touch Daniel while he was swimming.

This is a morena.

The Carneval

I found some carneval photos in my camera.
The carneval here in Los Cristianos was this year held from the
1st til the 12th of March.

I will Sing Again On Sunday

My computer fell to the floor and crashed last night.
A company have been looking at it today and they think they will get it repaired.
It can take up to a week before they get the spare part but I can use the computer like normal already now if I just connect it to a monitor.
It was only the monitor screen that crashed and they will change it to a new one as soon they can get a new one that fits.
This means I will sing like normal at Lewinskis from tomorrow night (Sunday).
Welcome to everybody.

Lewinski 23.02.2012

This video clip is from last Thursday.
I had about 38 degrees fever, but could sing the whole night because of the medication I took.
Next day I was so weak that I almost couldn't get out of the bed and I had to cancel my singing Friday night.
The syphtoms were; fever and a lot of ache in my body + a little bit soar throat + weakness and dissiness.
Yesterday it was my normal day off and today I feel a little bit better and I will sing tonight.
Brito also had this bug for 3 days so I hope it will leave me now.
I heard many people here on Tenerife have got it at the moment.
But don't worry if you get it, it will probably only last for 3-4 days.

Cachimba

We took the road up to Teide and then down on the other side.

Last Saturday we went over to La Orotava to have a meal in Guachinche Cachimba.
Cachimba means pipe in English.

Brito was driving.

It was not much snow at Teide.

We stopped to have a Cafe and a Torrija.

This photo of Teide inside the restaurant pleased me.
Oh so lovely if it would have been so much snow in real.

This beautiful tree is standing outside the restaurant.

We stopped and had a short walk in the forest to get some fresh air in our lungs.

Me in the forest.

On the way down to Cachimba.
The roads are very steep.

The restaurant was packed and we had to queue for about 20 minutes.

Some of the food we had.

Lazy Blogging?

I have got some complains the last weeks when I don't blogg much and some of you are visiting my blogg almost every day. I will soon, when the Scandinavians start leaving the island, receive some more sparetime and then I probably get more time with my blog...We'll see!

It already starts becoming much more silent and I am trying to stress down a little bit at the moment by playing Hidden Chronicles + Farmville on Facebook.
It is very cold here and I prefer to stay inside if i don't have to go out.
Brito has also been ill with fever and a running nose the last three days and because of that we also have just stayed in the house.

Why I haven't been blogging much is because I've been busy the last months with the apartments.
We have been working like crazy and what would I blogg about then?
I don't think the people who rent my apartments would like to become 'stars' in my blogg.

He,he! There are at least a couple of stories that would be a sensasion, if I could tell you the truth about how people have tried to fool us...But I'm never angry at anybody and I like to protect my clients whatever they do to me.

For me the money is not the reason why I live and I many times better loose or give money away to people to just perserve the paz. I'm sure I later somehow will get it all back and even with interests. That's how it works in the kingdom of God.
God like us to be in agreement with everybody and if you follow his will he will for sure not make you a looser in the end. That's how it works so why would I even worry or become upset?
'Give and it will be given to you'

The most of the clients have anyhow been lovely and the ones who have been less nice I love as much as the other ones...like I already said...I haven't got any enemies in this world.

The Almond Trees

Now the almond trees start blooming.

.

Chirche

Here the streets are very steep and narrow.

These photos are from a village called Chirche, up in the mountains.
A village that you normally don't visit. There's nothing special!
We anyhow had a quick visit here some days ago and I took these photos.

The first you see when you get there is a very complicated pipe system.

The nature is beautiful.

This is a 'Tajea'. (in Canarian)
Before it brought water from a water galleria, to the farmers.

There are some very old houses in this village.
Plants are growing through the roof.

A very old balcony made of wood.
Like I already said; It's not much to look at here...!

Brito In The 'Cave Village' Cave

Some caves are beautiful inside. The walls and the ceiling are
having a whole spectrum of colors.
This is not a big cave but it looks beautiful inside.

Brito likes adventure and he really would like to jump down and have a swim in the lagoon that is inside the cave. If it not were a lot of crabs there I would like to have a swim there too, but I think it could be very dangerous. Specially this day when the ocean was rough and the water was moving very strongly even inside the cave.

Imagine if the stream is so strong that it will suck you into the tubes that connect the cave with the ocean!
Oh, I don't recommend anybody to swim here even when it's very cozy and tempting.
The crabs are kind ones. They will not attack you even when they look like monsters, but be aware of the water whirls when they can be very strong!

Brito also agreed and said it could be very dangerous to just jump down into a cave lagoon like this. You don't know how deep it is nor how far it goes inside the island if the whirls bring you further inside. There are many times more tubes going further inside the island that can be connected to other caves or cathedrals.
